Nearly 335,000 people in Colombia are already infected with COVID-19 after more than 7,000 additional cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours. This is evident from the balance offered by the country’s Ministry of Health.
Health officials have confirmed 7,129 new cases of COVID-19 this Tuesday, which have increased the worldwide number of the Latin American country to 334,979. The 298 deaths found on the last day added 11,315 deaths from the disease in Colombia.
With 113,548 confirmed cases, Bogotá remains the region most affected by the coronavirus in Colombia. Behind them are Atlántico with 55.206 and Valle del Cauca with 27.592.
In addition, the Colombian Ministry of Health has highlighted that a total of 180,258 people in the country have recovered from the disease, 6,531 more than the previous day. However, 142,716 cases remain active.
