Colombia has again added more than 8,000 cases of coronavirus a day this Saturday and recorded 200 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the latest balance offered by the Ministry of Health.
The agency has reported that there were 8,394 new positive results from COVID-19 and 268 deaths from the pandemic. In addition, 9,549 other people have recovered after overcoming the disease.
Colombia has thus confirmed a total of 658,456 positive results for the coronavirus with 21,156 deaths. Similarly, 507,770 people have recovered from the pandemic and 128,174 cases remain active through this Saturday.
According to departments, Antioquia, which is hardest hit, has 87,797 positive results; followed by Atlántico with 64,965; and Valle del Cauca with 49,559 confirmed cases.
