The Colombian Ministry of Health reported more than 4,000 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, so the Latin American country is already heading for 130,000 positive cases.
The balance of the Colombian health authorities particularly shows 4,144 additional infections, which have increased the worldwide number in Colombia to 128,638. In terms of deaths, the 168 registered 4,527 deaths from COVID-19 in the country in the last 24 hours.
By region, Bogotá remains the most affected by the Colombian pandemic, accounting for 40,737 of all cases. Behind them are Atlántico with 29,572 and Valle del Cauca with 12,846.
Similarly, the Colombian Ministry of Health, which highlighted that 923,714 coronavirus diagnostic tests had already been performed, reported that 53,634 people in the Latin American country had managed to recover from the disease, 1,773 on the last day.
