Colombia added another 7,000 new cases of coronavirus this Wednesday, exceeding 218,000 confirmed positives, according to the Colombian health authorities.
In particular, data from the Colombian Ministry of Health show that 7,390 cases of coronavirus have been found in the last 24 hours, so that the worldwide number of infected people in the Latin American country is already 218,428.
The most affected region in the country is still Bogotá, which is currently living in a “sectoral” quarantine with 70,649 positive results. Behind it are Atlántico with 45,948 cases and Valle del Cauca with 19,164 cases.
The Colombian health authorities have confirmed 207 new deaths. A total of 7,373 people in Colombia have died as a result of COVID-19.
