Colombia registered 6,192 new cases of coronavirus and 201 deaths this Friday, bringing the total to 841,531 infections and 26,397 deaths in the country prior to the pandemic.
In addition, 2,262 patients were discharged during the day, bringing 753,953 people to health again, according to the Colombian Ministry of Health.
With these data, Colombia remains the fifth country in the world with the most coronavirus infections. There are currently a total of 59,342 active cases in the country.
Likewise, the government has performed 42,544 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 28,407 used the PCR method and 14,137 used the antigen test.
