Colombia adds 520 deaths from COVID-19 and tops 81,000 since the pandemic began

Colombian health officials this Sunday confirmed 520 new coronavirus deaths in the country, bringing the death toll from the disease in the context of the pandemic to 81,300.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health has reported 15,093 new cases of COVID-19 and 14,938 hospital discharges issued to rescued patients. So the global equilibrium is 3,118,426 positives, of which 2,917,584 are Colombians to whom the virus was superimposed.

On the other hand, last day’s Health Portfolio Epidemiological Report shows that there are 109,250 active cases.

These new figures also show that the capital Bogotá remains the area hardest hit by the health crisis. 5,570 infections were registered in the last 24 hours.

It is followed by Antioquia, who discovered 1,857 this Sunday, Santander with 1,273 and Valle with 1,165.
