Mexico City’s Prime Minister Claudia Sheinbaum announced on Twitter that she had tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday evening, October 26th.
Last night I was told that I tested positive for COVID. I feel good, strong and have a medical check-up @SSaludCdMx Y. @incmnszmx No symptoms so far. I will continue to work and coordinate all activities remotely, with the same commitment as always.

The president said she has no symptoms yet but will continue to work remotely to comply with the Mexican capital’s Sana Distancia rules.
According to the Department of Health (SSA), Mexico City has reported 156,000 cases of COVID-19 with 14,837 deaths in the eight months that Sana Distancia is taking action.
