If something is for you, it will come at the least anticipated moment. This is the case of Clara Louise, a London girl who worked as a cleaning lady and has now managed to become a model and a contract Gucci.
In an interview with which the young woman conducted Metro.UKshe tells how she was discovered. In June 2019, while walking down the street, she was spotted by Rob Wilson, the director of FOMO Models, a modeling agency.

“Rob saw me on the street, on my way to the gym, and wondered if I’d ever worked as a model,” said Clara. Then he commented that they had a conversation and the rest is history.
“I am very grateful because it was an incredible experience and shows how you should take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way,” explained the now Gucci model.
She has already worked with other brands like Gymshark, Boots and Primark. She also appeared on the cover of fashion and beauty magazine by Picton.
“It wasn’t anything I expected, it’s not as vicious as it’s shown in television dramas and films,” he said. “It was a whole new world.”
“I had never seen a curvy, black, Asian and ethnic minority model (BAME, an adjective that the Cambridge Dictionary uses for people in the UK who are not white) and I didn’t think my looks fit this world would. I feel like I can pave the way and tell my grandchildren that I was a Gucci model. “
Clara’s taste for Italian haute couture did not lead her to the influencer lifestyle. Instead, she is aiming for a teaching career. “I’m still a normal girl from East London, my mother wouldn’t let this bubble grow, she would burst it right away,” she confessed to the same medium.
“I’m just Clara, I take my energy, my passion and my love for myself, my culture, my ethnic origin, my hair and I show it to the world.”
