The Chinese Ministry of Health reported 12 cases of COVID-19 from abroad on Monday while registering no locally transmitted infections.
According to the Asian country’s health authorities, three of the imported cases were confirmed in Guangzhou and two in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. the same ones diagnosed in Shanghai City and Yunnan and Shaaxia Provinces, and another one in Fujian.
This brings the number of cases from abroad to 2,742, while the global number for China is 85,291.
Additionally, the Chinese Ministry of Health is not aware of any other deaths from COVID-19, so the death toll from the disease remains at 4,634.
