China registers four new imported cases in Sichuan Province and Shanghai

The Chinese Ministry of Health reported four newly imported coronavirus cases on Monday, three in Sichuan province and one in Shanghai, which also has a suspicious case from abroad.

The Department of Health has not registered a new death from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, so the number of deaths has remained at 4,634. The number of infections has now risen to 83,040.

In addition, nine patients were discharged on Sunday after recovering and overcoming the coronavirus, although 65 people continue to be treated for the disease. A total of 78,341 people in the country have recovered from COVID-19.

The number of cases imported from abroad rose to 1,780, of which 1,717 have recovered and 63 remain in hospital.
