China registers 11 newly imported positives and still does not recognize any local positives

Chinese health officials have reported 11 new cases of coronavirus in the Asian country while continuing to work in the past 24 hours with no local positives registered.

The Chinese Ministry of Health has confirmed that there have been a total of 85,414 positive results for the coronavirus since the pandemic began, including 186 patients still under treatment. In addition, they have stated that 80,594 patients were discharged after overcoming the virus.

The number of deaths in China stands at 4,634.

In Shanghai, authorities have discovered three new imported COVID-19 suspects, although no new deaths related to the disease have been recorded in the city. The authorities have also reported 10 new asymptomatic cases, all of which have been imported, although none of them have been classified as confirmed cases.

As of Wednesday, a total of 2,865 imported cases have been registered in the country, with no reported deaths.
