China has registered seven new cases of Covid-19, one from abroad

The Chinese Ministry of Health has registered seven new cases of Covid-19, one from abroad, which were documented on Wednesday in the city of Shanghai, while the cases of local transmission are all in Jilin province in the northeast of the country.

The authorities have not confirmed deaths from the disease, so the number of pandemic deaths in the Asian country has remained at 4,633.

On Tuesday, 18 patients were discharged after they recovered from the virus, making a total of 78,189 people recovering. The number of infections is 82,926.

With regard to the number of cases imported from abroad, health authorities have reported 1,692. Of these, 1,628 correspond to those who have been released while 64 are still admitted, three of whom are in severe condition.
