The Chinese Ministry of Health reported Tuesday that six new cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed from abroad, while no locally transmitted infection was found.
The number of imported COVID-19 cases in China has risen to 2,748, while the Asian country has registered a total of 85,297 positive cases. As of Tuesday, health officials have also not confirmed a death, so the number of deaths from the disease remains at 4,634.
On the other hand, the Chinese Ministry of Health reported that 13 people have been discharged from the hospital in the past 24 hours, but 166 patients are still receiving medical care due to the disease. The number of people rescued in China is 80,497.
Finally, 421 people who had been in close contact with infected people ended their medical observation this Monday, although 6,653 people are still being monitored.
