China has continued to focus its locally transmitted coronavirus cases on Xinjiang, where the Uyghur Muslim minority lives, which registered 30 new cases last day.

In the rest of China, three other local transmission cases were confirmed in Liaoning, in addition to 16 new positive ones imported from abroad. four in Sichuan, three in Shandong and Hubei, two in Guangdong and Shaanxi and one in Shanghai and Fujian, respectively.

With these new data, the total number of cases of COVID-19 in the Asian country was 84,385 and the deaths were 4,634.

The Chinese authorities have reported that 14 more people have been released this Saturday after recovering from the virus. However, 748 are still under medical treatment, 36 of them in severe condition.

To date, a total of 79,003 patients have recovered and have been discharged according to the latest state of the Ministry of Health.
