China confirms that Beijing is not registering new cases of coronavirus for the second day in a row

The Chinese Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday that seven more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, though none of them were in Beijing, where the most recent outbreak occurred, affecting 335 people, 28 of whom were already discharged, and another 31 who are asymptomatic .

The total amount of cases accumulated in China is 83,572. Similarly, the death toll remains at 4,634, while the number of people who have recovered has risen to 78,548 after the last 20 patients who left hospitals this Tuesday.

Health authorities have added that 390 people are still admitted. Similarly, 4,214 people who have been in close contact with an affected person continue to be medically observed.

According to the last seven cases from abroad, the Ministry of Health has registered a total of 1,949 imports, with the four in the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia and three others in the provinces of Shanxi, Guangzhou and Yunnan added.
