China confirms nine imported cases of coronavirus and still adds no contagion locally

The Chinese Ministry of Health this Friday confirmed nine more cases of coronavirus imported from abroad and is still not adding any contagion locally.

So far, health officials have confirmed 2,473 positives from overseas, of which 2,285 have been discharged after their recovery and 188 remain in hospital, four of whom are in severe condition.

The total number of confirmed infections in mainland China has reached 85,022, with 262 patients still under treatment. In addition, 80,126 people have recovered from overcoming COVID-19 and the death toll has remained at 4,634.

35 patients were discharged from hospitals on Friday. Similarly, 9,418 people who had close contact with an infected patient are still under medical observation, while 1,286 ended it on the last day.
