China confirms a dozen imported cases of coronavirus and still no cases of local transmission

The Chinese Ministry of Health reported this Friday that ten new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed from abroad, although the country continues to not add any cases of locally transmitted coronavirus after several consecutive days.

The number of imported COVID-19 cases in China has increased to 2,864, while the Asian country has registered a total of 85,413 positive cases.

Of the recent infections that have reached China, three have been registered in Sichuan Province, two more in Fujian, the same in Guangzhou, and three more spread out between Shanghai, Chongqing and Shaanxi.

Health officials also didn’t confirm a death this Friday, so the death toll from the disease remains at 4,634.
