The Chinese Ministry of Health this Thursday confirmed eleven newly imported cases of coronavirus and twelve asymptomatic cases while still not diagnosing positive for community transmission.
Health officials have said a total of 2,528 imported cases of coronavirus have come from mainland China, of which 2,356 have been discharged after their recovery and 172 remain in hospital, three of which are in severe condition.
In this way, the total number of infections in the country rose to 85,077, with 192 patients still receiving medical treatment. In addition, 80,251 people have recovered from overcoming the disease and 4,634 have died from the pandemic.
To date, 7,259 people who have had close contact with infected patients are under medical observation, although 889 more have ended contact in the last 24 hours.
Eventually, Hong Kong raised its balance to 4,830 infections, including 93 deaths, although 4,401 of those have already recovered. Macau remains with 46 people infected despite all of them having overcome the disease.
