The Chilean Ministry of Health this Saturday has reported a total of 371,023 cases of coronavirus since the pandemic broke out in the country, which has already passed the 10,000 death threshold and has recorded a total of 10,011 deaths.
According to the official record, the country has recorded 2,201 new cases and 53 more deaths from the virus. Of the new infections, 1,511 people had symptoms and 604 are asymptomatic.
Authorities found 27,037 COVID-19 screening tests had been performed in the past 24 hours, a total of 1,812,895 since the persecution began last March.
The balance sheet states that the number of recovered patients was 344,133 while the number of active cases added a total of 16,880 affected people.
