CDC estimates that there could be more than 127,000 coronavirus deaths in the U.S. by the end of June

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its predictions for the number of coronavirus deaths in the U.S. on Thursday, and estimated that more than 127,000 deaths could be registered June 27.

The forecast, which suggests that the number of deaths from COVID-19 will continue to decrease, is based on 20 estimates by external institutions, in particular 127,230 deaths by the proposed date, a number that falls within a possible range of 118,450 and 143,340 deaths .

In its previous forecast, released last Thursday, the CDC predicted around 123,200 deaths by June 20, the CNN television station recalled.
