Canada imposes curfew in Quebec

Canada has put a curfew in the province of Quebec since Friday to fight the rise in the accumulated incidence of the coronavirus.

“We are at the height of the pandemic and risk our hospitals overflowing in the coming weeks,” warned the head of the provincial government, Francois Legault, as reported by Canadian public television CBC.

The curfew was imposed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., and Canadians who violate the measure are fined between $ 1,000 and $ 6,000.
