Buenos Aires is applying new restrictions on restaurants and the sale of alcohol due to the coronavirus

The government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires announced this Saturday the introduction of new restrictions to contain coronavirus infections, which will affect restaurant services and the sale of alcohol.

Therefore, social gatherings may not be organized in spaces that are complementary to the tables and chairs of the catering establishments, and they may only be consumed there.

The local government, headed by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, has also announced a ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages from 8:00 p.m., according to information from the Argentine newspaper “Clarín”.

Buenos Aires Deputy Prime Minister Diego Santilli has argued that Buenos Aires’ bars and restaurants “conform” to health protocols.
