British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab this Sunday called for an investigation into the alleged poisoning of the opposition Alexei Navalni by Russia to ensure that it was an act of “pure gangsterism”.

Raab has assured Russia has a “case to act on” after Germany assured that Navalni was poisoned with a nerve agent from the Novichok group.

In an interview with the BBC chain, when asked about Russia’s alleged involvement in the poisoning, the foreign minister assured that it was “very difficult” to find an alternative explanation which, given its “history”, was “plausible” be.
