May 17, 2020

The UK government has confirmed more than 3,000 new coronavirus infections and 170 more have died in the past few hours, at a time when people are losing confidence in government management. This emerges from a survey published this Sunday.

The balance provided by Minister of Enterprise and Industrial Development Alok Sharma this Sunday does not include data for Northern Ireland due to a “technical error”.

The available numbers show a total of 3,142 new cases, of which a total of 243,303 were affected, and 170 new deaths, resulting in a total of 34,636 deaths. A total of 10,035 people remain in the hospital.
