The Brazilian Ministry of Health confirmed on Sunday that the barrier had been overcome by half a million cases and there are already 514,849 people infected with COVID-19 in the South American country. Also recorded on the same day were 29,314 deaths that the president, Jair Bolsonaro, went on horseback through the demonstration called for in his favor and against the Supreme Court and Congress.

Brazil remains the second largest country with the most cases of the new corona virus and, according to the latest days, the fourth largest country after the USA with more than 1.7 million infections and 104,000 deaths.
