Brazil exceeded the limit of 330,000 coronavirus deaths this Saturday, registering 1,987 deaths from the disease in the past 24 hours, reaching the total of 330,193 according to the latest information from the Brazilian Ministry of Health.
Likewise, 43,515 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the health portfolio, bringing the country closer to 13 million positive cases since the pandemic began. A total of 12,953,597 people have suffered from COVID-19 disease in Brazil.
According to the South American Ministry of Health and the media consortium, the average number of deaths has increased in the country in recent days.
Of particular note is the state of Rio de Janeiro, where two records were broken for deaths this week. The first on Thursday with 387 deaths from the disease and the second this Saturday with 411 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to G1.
Faced with this situation, this Brazilian state has published a new decree with restrictions, valid until April 12th, which provides for the closure of beaches in the capital and the reduction of working hours.
