The Brazilian Department of Health has reported that more than 20,000 new cases of coronavirus and more than 700 additional deaths from the disease have been confirmed this Monday, causing the Latin American country to report nearly 73,000 deaths.
In particular, according to the Brazilian health authorities, 733 additional deaths have been verified in the last 24 hours, so that the global calculation has risen to 72,833. The 20,286 cases registered this Monday totaled 1,884,967.
In addition, the Brazilian Ministry of Health has highlighted that the country has already overcome the one million restored barrier, a total of 1,154,837. According to the health authorities, the number of people cured is higher than the number of active cases (657,297) that are currently under medical supervision.
