The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported this Saturday that the country has reached 3.3 million coronavirus infections by registering 40,000 new positives.
Authorities have added 41,576 more cases of COVID-19 and 709 deaths in the past 24 hours. With this new data, the number of positives has risen to 3,317,096 and the number of deaths to 107,232.
In addition, Brazil has reached 2,404,272 people who have recovered after overcoming the pandemic, while the number of active cases has been set at 805,592.
For its part, the Media Alliance has reported 726 new deaths using data collected by the state health secretariats, a record number recorded within 24 hours, bringing the total to 107,297 deaths since the pandemic began.
In terms of the number of infections, 38,937 new positives were counted, for which a total of 3,317,832 people were infected with COVID-19.
