The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported this Thursday that 34,021 deaths from COVID-19 have been registered. This means that the South American country is already the third largest country with the most deaths after surpassing Italy with 33,689 deaths. .

1,473 new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, the highest daily record for the fourth day in a row. Therefore, Brazil, the epicenter of the pandemic in Latin America, lags behind the United States and the United Kingdom in terms of deaths.

In terms of the number of cases, Brazil has registered 606,085 infections, 30,925 more than the previous day, and is only surpassed by the United States, with more than 1.8 million people suffering from the disease.
