Brazil exceeds 850,000 coronavirus cases with more than 20,700 new positives

The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported this Saturday that 850,000 coronavirus cases have been exceeded in the country, with a total of 21,704 new positives in the past 24 hours.

In particular, the authorities have confirmed 850,514 infections since the pandemic started in the country, stating that 428,549 patients due to COVID-19 remain under medical supervision.

The death toll has exceeded 42,000 and reached 42,720 pandemic deaths. In particular, the authorities have recorded 892 deaths in the past 24 hours, although they have indicated that this number includes deaths that occurred in earlier days.

These numbers differ one day more than the Brazilian Media Alliance, which registered 890 more deaths on the last day, making a total of 42,791 COVID-19 deaths in the country. In addition, they indicated that there are a total of 850,796 confirmed infections.
