About a hundred acolytes by Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro met outside the Army’s headquarters in Brasilia this Sunday to ask for military intervention and from where they attacked the Federal Court and Congress again.
With banners and slogans against the Supreme Judges, who have been dubbed “dictators”, protesters have protested recent judicial decisions by the Brazilian judiciary, which has recently investigated possible suspects of plans against democratic institutions.
One of the people who focused the attacks on the demonstrators was judge Alexandre de Moraes, who is currently leading the investigation into possible undemocratic acts by Bolsonaro supporters, such as the fireworks attack on Supreme Headquarters a few weeks ago. .
The demonstrations in favor of Bolsonaro and against some of the powers of the state have been taking place every Sunday in Brasilia since March 15, despite the restrictions imposed to stop the advance of COVID-19.
