MADRID, Aug. 26 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, has joined in the social networks to the offensive comments against the wife of his counterpart in France, Emmanuel Macron, pulling a comment that compared the first two ladies, among whom there were almost 30 years of difference.
On Saturday, a follower published a photo montage of the two couples next to the question: “Do you now understand why Macron is after Bolsonaro?” The offensive message would not have transpired had it not been because among his comments – according to 'O Globo' – is one of the Brazilian president himself: “Do not humiliate him, man. Kkkkkkk”.
The comment, on which the Brazilian Government is silent, has generated criticism in a context marked precisely by the political pulse between Macron and Bolsonaro on account of the latter's responsibilities in the fires that affect the Brazilian Amazon.
The relationship between the two countries had also provoked a diplomatic controversy earlier this month, after Bolsonaro canceled at the last minute a meeting with the French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves le Drian, and then appeared live on Facebook, cutting off the hair.
