The Bolivian Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 110,999 accumulated cases this Tuesday, while the death toll has reached 4,664 after the last 88 confirmed deaths, beating China, the country where the pandemic was triggered.
The number of new infections is 851, which is the latest figures from last week, with around a thousand cases per day.
The balance shows that 48,875 people managed to beat the disease, while 57,460 cases remain active and a further 13,663 are suspected of having the disease.
Although the eastern part of the country has recorded the most accumulated cases with 39,616 cases, especially Santa Cruz, the latest data shows a stabilization of the situation with slight decreases in contrast to the western part, where in departments like La Paz (29,149) the increases are taking place to. or Cochabamba, 12,017.
Amid a severe political and social crisis, Bolivia was in strict confinement with almost total paralysis of its activities until May 31, only to move into dynamic quarantine from June, ending this month.
