Bolivia has exceeded 95,000 cases of coronavirus in the past few hours, including nearly 4,000 deaths. This is evident from the balance published by the Andean Ministry of Health.
In those 24 hours, health officials counted 1,743 new infections and a further 66 deaths, making a total of 95,071 infected people and 3,827 deaths.
The Bolivian executive has set out in detail that of the total confirmed cases, 58,414 are still active, while another 32,830 people have managed to overcome COVID-19.
By territories, Santa Cruz remains the hardest hit by the pandemic with 37,831 positive results, ahead of La Paz with 23,721, despite the highest number of new cases recorded last day (813). This is followed by Cochabamba (10,990), Beni (5,930), Tarija (5,140), Oruro (4,214), Chuquisaca (3,127), Potosí (2,352) and Pando (1,766).
