Bolivia exceeded 121,000 cases of coronavirus this Monday by confirming more than 800 additional cases in the past 24 hours. This can be seen from the balance offered by the Andean Ministry of Health.
The Bolivian health authorities have indicated that 835 new infections were found, bringing the overall balance of Bolivia to 121,604 positive.
According to the Bolivian news agency ABI, La Paz tops the list of regions that have confirmed the most infections in the past 24 hours (272). This is followed by Tarija with 238 and Potosí with 174.
However, Santa Cruz is the division hardest hit by the pandemic with a total of 41,197 cases of COVID-19. Then there are La Paz (32,161) and Cochabamba (12,629).
As for deaths due to the pandemic, the Bolivian health authorities registered 46 new ones this Monday, bringing the total to 7,054 deaths as a result of COVID-19 in Bolivia.
