The Bolivian Ministry of Health reported this Tuesday that 667 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours. This is the department of Tarija that has amassed the most additional infections, 219 total.
With this number, Bolivia already has 128,286 people infected with coronavirus. The Bolivian ministry hardest hit by the pandemic remains Santa Cruz with 41,923 positive results. It is followed by La Paz with 33,731 and Cochabamba with 13,261. Tarija, in fourth place, adds 10,785 after confirming the 219 that day.
In addition, the Andean country’s health authorities have confirmed the deaths of another 53 people due to COVID-19. The total number of deaths in Bolivia since the health crisis began is 7,447.
On the other hand, according to the Bolivian news agency ABI, 86,216 people have managed to recover from the disease in the Latin American country.
