There are almost 65,000 cases of coronavirus in Bolivia after nearly 1,800 other cases have been confirmed in the past 24 hours. The La Paz department has broken a record of new positives.
According to the balance offered by the Bolivian health authorities, the Andean nation saw 1,778 new cases of COVID-19 this Wednesday, increasing the global number to 64,135 infected people.
Of this number, La Paz has accumulated 788 to reach a total of 11,409. However, the Bolivian ministry most affected by the pandemic is Santa Cruz, which has reported 513 new cases. Santa Cruz has had 31,400 positive results so far.
After Santa Cruz and La Paz is Cochabamba. After the 193 infections confirmed in the last 24 hours, a total of 6,887 infections occurred.
