Bolivia exceeds 15,000 cases of coronavirus by confirming more than 600 cases in the past 24 hours

Bolivia has exceeded 15,000 cases of coronavirus by confirming more than 600 cases in the past 24 hours, as reported by the Andean health authorities.

After registering the 637 infections that Wednesday, Bolivia had 15,281 positive results three months after registering its first case.

As for the coronavirus deaths in Bolivia, there were 25 new ones that day, bringing the total to 512 deaths based on the balance collected by the Bolivian news agency ABI.

The Bolivian department most affected by the pandemic that originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan is Santa Cruz, where a total of 9,594 COVID-19 cases occur. Beni follows with 2,778; Cochabamba at 1,297; La Paz at 842; and Oruro with 305 positive results.
