July 7, 2020

The Bolivian Ministry of Health reported on Monday that the Andean country has already exceeded the limit of 40,000 coronavirus cases. The Ministry of La Paz set its daily record for new positives, 480 in the past 24 hours.

The Bolivian health authorities confirmed 1,212 new infections from COVID-19 on Monday, so that the total balance of the country has increased in 40,509 cases three days after four months of detection of the first patients with coronavirus in Bolivia.

For example, La Paz, which already has 4,685 sufferers from the disease, sees how complicated its health panorama is, since, as the local newspaper ‘La Razón’ emphasized, there are collapsed hospitals, other closed, infected doctors and compliance with established safety standards low.
