Bolivia again breaks its record for new coronavirus cases, confirming almost 1,500 on the last day

The Bolivian Ministry of Health has reported that the country has registered nearly 1,500 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, a new record in the number of additional infections.

The balance offered by the Bolivian health authorities shows 1,439 new confirmed cases that have increased the global balance of the Andean nation to 42,984 positive ones, of which 28,524 are considered active.

The Department of Santa Cruz has 528 most new infections. La Paz (275 on the last day) and Beni (176) follow. Santa Cruz is indeed the most affected region in Bolivia, COVID-19, as it accumulates 22,926 positives from the sum. La Paz and Cochabamba in places two and three have 5,151 and 4,635 respectively.

The Bolivian Ministry of Health has also reported 47 new coronavirus deaths, including 24 in Santa Cruz. According to the Bolivian news agency ABI, a total of 1,577 people died of COVID-19 in the Latin American country.
