Bolivia registered another 1,200 cases of coronavirus on Friday, so the country’s balance has exceeded 66,000 positives, according to the latest data from the Andean Nation’s Ministry of Health.
In particular, 1,204 new infections and 66 new deaths have been confirmed, so that Bolivia already has 66,456 infected people and 2,473 deaths as a result of COVID-19.
The Department of La Paz accumulated most infections, 330, followed by Cochabamba at 258 and Santa Cruz at 190. With this new data, Santa Cruz remains the most pandemic-affected region in Bolivia with 31,846 infections. . La Paz (12,273) and Cochabamba (7,305) follow.
The Bolivian Ministry of Health has highlighted that 43,369 of the total cases are still active. So far, 20,614 patients in the Latin American country have recovered from the disease.
