The chips used in the new device are the same as the Antminer S19 and S19 Pro, but the new APW12 power supply and the updated firmware are also used.. These changes have been reported to enable faster startup speeds for an optimized mining experience.

Riccardo Mori, the manager of a small mining company in Venezuela, told Cointelegraph T19 is a huge improvement over T17, and its introduction is likely to increase Bitcoin’s hashrate. He also believes that the introduction of the new hardware will help the Bitcoin network earn Hashrate again:

“With the introduction of the T19, we can expect the network’s hash rate to increase significantly, and as a result, the difficulty of mining will increase. This will reduce profitability and further increase the expected return on investment. “

Bitmain’s production pain points have recently manifested

The announcement for the 19th quarter follows the latest community reports that The recently released Antminer S17 + was flawed. Wattum Arseniy Grusha, co-founder of the U.S.-based crypto consulting and mining company, said:

“I have never seen such a faulty production.”

Shortly after the criticism in early May Bitmain confirmed that many ASIC units in the series had major problems. A spokesman told Cointelegraph that the company had already had discussions with customers who had problems.
