Ajey Nagar, A popular Indian YouTuber with 6.7 million subscribers is the latest Victim from the current BitCoin competition fraud on YouTube.
The hack took place on Nagar’s second YouTube channel, CarryisLivewhere he plays video games with YouTubers and celebrities.
Two promotional videos of the Bitcoin scam have been released on the channel. Both videos showed Bitcoin addresses. One of the videos also featured a picture of SpaceX and Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk, who reportedly gave away Bitcoin. The scammers promised to double the bitcoin sent to them.
At the time of printing Ajey Nagar announced that his YouTube channel is back to normal.

This is not the first time Bitcoin scams have made it on YouTube. As Cointelegraph previously reported, Fake Bitcoin gifts from stations that claim to belong to Elon Musk cheated some users for USD 150,000. Fraudsters recently tried to use the Double Your Money scam to attack VeChain VET token holders. The YouTube legal team has argued that the platform is not responsible for the liability for crypto fraud committed as part of its content or video descriptions..
