Biden is providing almost 38 million euros for “urgent needs” for migration

United States President Joe Biden announced this Friday that he has provided an additional $ 46 million in funding to meet “urgent and unexpected needs” in the refugee and migration field.

Under the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act (MRAA), Biden has stated that it is “in the national interest to provide aid not exceeding $ 46 million” from the Emergency Fund for Refugees and Migration.

These are distributed to international organizations that support the humanitarian needs of migrants in Central America and third countries in the region.
