Beijing adds 22 more coronavirus infections and records a total of 227 outbreak-related cases

On Saturday, Beijing added 22 more contagions to the coronavirus pandemic, bringing the total to 227 cases related to the latest outbreak that originated in the Chinese capital and related to the wholesale market in the southwest Fengtai District.

The Chinese Ministry of Health has reported that there have been a total of 26 new positives in the country, 25 of which have been broadcast locally and one from abroad in Fujian.

As reported by the authorities, all registered cases of the last outbreak in Beijing are treated in hospital, while 18 asymptomatic cases remain under medical supervision.

During Saturday, China had no more deaths due to the corona virus, so the number of deaths in the country remained at 4,634. So far, the authorities have confirmed more than 84,500 infections in the Asian country.

The Ministry of Health confirmed a total of 1,869 positives imported from abroad, of which 1,787 have already been discharged and 82 remain in the hospital.
