Individuals wishing to enter Austria from countries where the coronavirus pandemic is in a critical situation must deliver the negative result of a COVID-19 diagnostic test carried out three days earlier in accordance with the new regulations of the Ministry of Austria Monday takes effect.
The regulations stipulate that the validity of the test in question has been shortened because the Austrian authorities have approved entry using a four-day-old diagnostic test.
The Ministry of Health published a list of 32 countries with a high level of infection this Friday after concluding that the increase in cases recently registered by Austria is partly related to travel to and from abroad.
The list in question includes most of the Balkan countries that have led to infection outbreaks in Austria in recent weeks. The list also includes Sweden and Portugal as well as the USA, Brazil and India.
