Austria has registered more than 9,300 coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours, close to the record from a year ago (when it registered more than 9,500 cases in a single day), although hospital pressures continue to fall to reasonable levels, according to health authorities of the country.

However, the regional leaders will meet with national inspectors this afternoon to decide if further action is needed.
