At least three civilians were killed and eight injured in a Taliban mortar attack on a market in the Afghan province of Kapisa in the east of the country. This emerges from police sources in 1TV News.
“Three civilians were killed and eight others injured in the Taliban mortar attack on the Tagab market,” the media reported on their Twitter account.
This attack occurs after the deaths of two local Afghan chiefs of police in the past 24 hours in two explosions in Paktika and Zabul provinces in the southeast of the country, one of which has been alleged by insurgents. Security sources have confirmed to the Tolo News chain.
Three other guards were killed and four other police officers wounded in these two explosions, which are part of the spiral of violence that the country plunged into as it attempted to advance the peace talks.
