At least ten people were injured in Kabul this Tuesday by the impact of several rockets fired at various points in the capital to mark the 101st anniversary of Afghan independence.
The Home Office has confirmed that missiles from two vehicles have been launched in District 8 and District 10 without providing further details of possible casualties or damage. According to the Tolo News network, at least four rockets were fired.
The shootings took place shortly after Afghan President Ashraf Ghani deposited a wreath in the Defense Ministry’s independence minaret, according to the data protection authority. Pictures of a column of smoke, a burning car and other people damaged after the shooting were posted on social networks.
