BERLIN, 10 Sep. (DPA / EP) –
At least one person has died and more than 60 have been injured due to a fire recorded Tuesday at a hospital in the German town of Dusseldorf, as reported by the City Fire Department in his Twitter account.
Of those injured, at least seven of them are in critical condition, while four others are seriously injured. A spokesman for the Fire Department has indicated that 61 people have suffered smoke inhalation poisoning.
The authorities, on the other hand, have confirmed that hundreds of people have had to receive medical attention due to the heavy fire at Marien's hospital.
Firefighters have explained that because of the flames, which have already been extinguished, a person has died. It is unknown at the moment if it is a patient. The fire would have begun in a patient's room, where a person's lifeless body has been found.
